Welland Junior Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Community Club and during 2008 we were presented with the ‘County Winner Club Award' in recognition of our commitment to: |
- Junior football in the community
- Plans for funding and facility development
- Charter Standard renewal
- Sustained growth and extensive member training program
- Introduction of girl’s football teams and our co-operation with MHDC

 The Club is based at Spitalfield, in Welland village, and provides boys and girls league and non league football training and full details can be accessed on the Teams link above.

WJFC Car Boot Sale - Updated 14th May 2012
Car Boot Sales are a MAJOR Fundraiser for the Club. After the postponment of the first Car Boot Sale of the season at Welland we have been allocated a new date by the Parish Council:

We need volunteers to help run this event so if you could help marshalling, spare some time in the kitchen on the day serving tea, coffee and cakes, or just make cakes for sale please let Pete/Sarah know.

Welland Team:
Dominic Turner, Edward Whitton, Oliver Hammond, Morgan Childs, Jarvis Cleal, Samuel Owen, Joshua Godwin, Sebastian Hood, Ellis Golding, Kieran Furniss, Joseph Barlow.
Man of the Match: Jarvis Cleal / Referee: Mr D Pattison.
A well fought out match between two teams that saw Welland Junior Colts come out on top with a 2-0 win with both goals coming from Morgan Childs one in each half. Well done to everyone involved – a great game of football and a credit to the Club!
Dave and Graham would like to say well done to the team for all their effort and a massive thank you to all parents and all involved it all meant a lot to us - thank you again.

Not sure whether your child really likes football? Why not come along to training on a Saturday morning at Welland and Pay-to-Play. You can pay £2 a week for the first 4 weeks to see whether your child is happy at the Club. After 4 weeks we ask you to pay the full registration fee less what you have already paid. If your child is not happy at the Club you can just walk away, but any feedback would be appreciated. |
